My name is Shelby, also known as ShelbyisRad, Shelby Rad, Shelbs etc.
My grandma calls me her Precious Angel.
My friend Stargardener calls me Braveheart.
I am also called an artist, writer, poet(!), friend, sister, leader, student, and roommate.
I am a “twenty something” in college with no idea of my next step.
I became a follower of Christ in 2005, and have since wrestled with the idea of christianity and ultimately decided I love Jesus and I love my church but I struggle with just about everything else.
I am most simply a soul, trying to navigate a world of other souls all broken and in need of love.
I hope my blog is a place where other souls can gather to hear my story and find inspiration, courage and love.

So nice to meet another sister in the Lord. Don’t you love in courage! Found you over there. I’m now following your blog.
I blog over at Ordinary Inspirations. http://www.ordinaryinspirations.blogspot.com
It is really great to connect with you!

Its great to meet you too! and I do love it!! I might be the only teenaged girl who reads it but Its still such a blessing, i’ve always needed a woman, to mentor to me growing up without a mom and (in)courage does that a lot!

I couldn’t help but laugh out loud when I read the part that says “I am not too good at this blogging thing, I am a much better reader of blogs” because that is exactly how I feel. Your blog is so refreshing! Glad I stumbled upon your comment on Jaclyn Rae’s blog about your camera! Lol! I love taking pictures and your comment caught my attention so I thought I’d mingle over here and look at yours!
Hope I’m not intruding!!
Hey Shelby Just wondering if the squirrel family made it to you okay?
I tried to email you but maybe you didn’t get it.
Hope you had a nice Easter.

Isn’t it amazing how Jesus changes everything? So glad He was able to change things around for good

Shelby,
I read a great quote the other day that I wish I wrote down it was something like, great stories happen to those who can retell them. Thanks for sharing your story, sounds like a beautiful one in the making!
