Day 5 A picture of A place you’ve been

I haven’t traveled much but the furthest from home I have been and the most different place I have ever been was:

Minnesota (so exotic and different right?)
Well when you’ve been in little ol’ NC almost your whole life  it kind of is.

My friend Aimee and I spent our spring break there last year, we drove ourselves (without stopping at a hotel) it was crazy and fun

Day 04- A habit that you wish you didn’t have

My go to habit I wish I didn’t have was nail biting, but I don’t do that any more (squee)!

I guess one of the habits I wish I didn’t have was how messy I make my room.

I can make a mess of a perfectly clean space in like thirty minutes, its ridiculous!

I also wish I didn’t get so attached to people, I’m not sure its a habit but I do get so attached to people so easily and quickly and then I feel like I get heart broken when people come and go from my life.

Day 2: Meaning behind your blog/username

So my username is Shelbyisrad… my last name starts with the letters Rad, and Junior year in my high school class i was hurrying out and signed my name ‘shelby rad’ on my paper and thats what my teacher began calling me, and it spread and one time the name was taken on something I was signing up for so changed it to ShelbyisRad which became my twitter name as well.

My blog name however is Sleeping In Peace, I actually did a post about the name here. To sum it up I have most of my life had trouble with nightmares and really bad sleep in general, I would wake up in tears or screams so often and i sometimes just dreaded going to sleep. I also had always had trouble with worry, and when I heard this quote on Gitzen Girl a while ago it spoke to me on so many levels.
