Friday’s Featured Friend: Author, Casey Samuel

The next of my friday’s featured friend is Casey Lauren‘s hubby: Casey Samuel!

I’ve told you before about how incredible Casey and Casey are, and in the post about Casey Lauren I mentioned that Casey Samuel is an author!

and as this post publishes his first book is going to be released FOR FREE as an audio book!

Yes, FREE! I’ve already heard the first chapter and it is SO GOOD! I am super pumped to listen to it.

I am not the best when it comes to audio books, i get distracted so easy but I was totally hooked listening to the book and didn’t get distracted at all! It will soon be released in paperback and for kindle too. but go RIGHT now and start listening for free.

Fridays Featured Friend

I’ve done a few posts like this featuring some of the incredibly talented (or just fabulous) friends I have! And boy do I have some talented friends! I am seriously blessed to be surrounded by such creative, beautiful people!

Today I have to tell you about Katie Moore.

I knew Katie before she was a big-time photographer

I met her in the 8th grade, our years of friendship were spent praising jesus and having fun with our friends. Katie is a beautiful girl not only physically but inside too. She is fun, honest, loving, and so so kind. This is Katie:

And she takes KILLER pictures! I remember being at her audition and first fashion show for Flash Model Management, then after some modeling she suddenly was the girl behind the camera and her talent shined. She also put her fantastic administrative skills to the test and put on auditions/fashion shows for Flash (I got to last minute be in one… SO fun!)

Katie has gone from the blonde, silly girl I knew as a teen to a talented, (still blonde and silly), traveling the country, mega-talented photographer. I cannot tell you how proud I am to call her friend!

Hah i just realized how similar all the ones of her work I had picked out intitially…. guess you can tell the aesthetic i love!!

Katie is such an incredibly kind and sweet girl, I love that she is part of my life and I am so excited to see where her future takes her.

I love you! Keep being the amazing girl you are! And never think for a second you’re not as beautiful as the models you shoot are because not only are you GORGEOUS you have a heart of gold and the sweetest soul. I adore you and look up to you so much. Keep going after your dreams!

I’ve featured a few lovely friends on my blog before, I told you about the incredible peyton (who needs to start a blog) and the sweet Jaclyn, I’ve talked about a dear family who were in the process of adopting two precious angels.

and Next up I wanna tell you about this lovely lady!

Casey Lauren and her hubby (Casey Samuel) are in the process of becoming foster parents!

The Caseys are INCREDIBLE, they play music, CL is an INCREDIBLE photographer! They’re videographers, and CS is a writer! (Casey Lauren probably is too but I’m not sure if she’s writing anything besides her blog and I know Casey Samuel is working on a novel) Not to mention they’re ADORABLE have two awesome cats, a mega awesome house.

They’re real, Casey Lauren has told me before “I’m not good at small talk” she likes to get to the heart of things, she is not surface level. the Caseys both have huge hearts and kind souls and I am SOO excited to share Casey’s new blog with you about their process of becoming foster parents!

Oh and they’re both kind of GORGEOUS.

Spreading Sunshine

I know this incredible girl named Jaclyn. I have never heard her voice or given her a hug or heard her laughter but she has touched my heart. And I’ve only known her a few months if that, met her in thiscrazy little blogging world. The internet is so funny that way. You can read one post and feel like you’ve found a kindred spirit or a life-long friend.

Thats how I felt the first time Jaclyn commented on one of my post and I explored her site and felt like I had found an instant friend. I of course told her she was my new bff and we struck up a friendship through blog posts and sweet comments.

She is such a light in my life, she is beautiful, smart, and kind. She is optimistic and the epitome  of sunshine; all the things I hope and dream I am known as in life. She is also a very sincere and godly lady and she is a wonderful encourager. On my post from yesterday when I was feeling bleh she left me a quote

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston Churchill

the exact words I needed to hear to be lifted and encouraged. We have become pen pals (i owe her a letter I need to get on that) and I get SO giddy every time one of her letters come. They’re always so kind and full of sunshine.
I got that term ‘spreading sunshine’ from her and I think this is the best way I could spread some sunshine;  telling you all about this beautiful friend of mine.
