Vacation 6

This is late… and I’m planning to get day 7 done sometime tomorrow!

and eeep! just realized i also have to get my 1,300 things to be grateful post ready for tomorrow!

Well here are pictures from Monday on vacation, Sarah wasn’t feeling well so Robbie and I went into Charleston together while Sarah and the grown ups stayed back at the condo

We went to The market, which used to be the slave market but now is a bunch of different vendors.

Shops we visited, I bought some tea from the spice and tea exchange, haven’t tried it yet though! I need to soon!

This shop was awesomesauce. we spent a lot of time there. the raw stones made me swoon!

Then we went to this DELICIOUS cupcake shop called, Cupcake (imagine that!) the middle picture is an example of their MEGA cupcakes!! doesn’t that look GOOOOD!?! and our red velvet cupcakes were SOOOO good!

and we ended the night with robbie (with help of Dad) making yummy mexican noms.

 

Vacation 5

Monday we got up early and went to the SC Aquarium.

Robbie and I took others in front of the tank but of course THAT was the only one that came out!

We eneded the night with yummy drinks (robbie had a pina colada i had a virgin strawberry daquri) and nachos!

 

 

 

 

Vacation Day 4

Today was a laid back day. We spent some time at the beach!

(I actually got in the water)

We then went for lunch at the Pizzaria across from our condo but I ended up leaving and getting robbie to walk me back cause i felt yucky.I did get my caesar salad to go and it was yummy! sadly i forgot to take pictures… maybe we will stop by there another afternoon.

the rest of the afternoon we read and relaxed before going across the street again for Ben and Jerry’s!

Robbie got Chunky Monkey, (which was delicious!) Sarah got Cookie Dough, Mom got Chocolate Mint, Dad got Cherry Garcia, and I got the only good seafood i’ll eat… Phish Food

After that we walked to one of the beach stores and goofed off and met a few birds.

This first one was Lucky. she was sweet and I actually scratched her head some.

And this pretty fella was Bubba, he was FUNNY, he said a bunch of phrases like “hello”, “goodbye”, “aflac”, and “I love bubba.”

He even waved his wing at me! I got some video of it but I have to figure out how to get it on here and I will post it soon lol

And then we came home and watched as a storm rolled in:  

Those storm pictures are straight out of camera, no editing. it was quite the show! especially when the lightening started! Sarah and I enjoyed most of it from the balcony before the lightning got a little too spooky

Vacation Day 3

Day 3 we all slept in a little bit to recover from the concert night.

Then we ate at Coconut Joes, and though we didn’t get to eat on the deck the atmosphere was so great and beachy.

And Sarah insisted I take pictures of Palm trees since we are on the Isle of Palms!

After lunch we were serenaded, best thing about being around musicians all the time, they’re always singing!

Then we went to Barnes and Noble, had starbucks and went to Target.

I had key lime tart nomnomnom.

I got pretty pens and a composition book and new hairties at target and I got a CUUUTE new tote at Barnes and Noble!

We will now take a moment to admire how freaking adorable my boy is:

Then Dad grilled steaks robbie helped and I took pictures.

And then we went for a walk on the beach. Sarah and I ran around in the water and my jeans/shirt got DRENCHED….

it was EPIC and awesome!!!!
